Prevention is better than cure!
By servicing the injectors during the major service intervals, the motorist will save money.  Over a period of time, considerable savings will be made in regard to:

  • Improved fuel economy - Tests have shoen that fuel economy improves after the injectors are serviced.
  • Lower repair bills - Correct fuel distribution and atomisation will reduce lacquering of the inlet valves and wear on the valve guides as well as detonation occuring in the cylinder, and carbon build up on the exhaust valves.
  • Prolongoned Lambda Sensor life - Laquering of the Sensor is caused by poor fuel combustion; it will also slow down response time of the Lambda Sensor, contributing further to the problem.
  • Prolonged life of the Catalytic Converted Exhaust System - Designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle, some very expensive catalytic Converters are being replaced after only three years due to clogging.  Preventing these problems will help save resources and protect our environment.
Symptoms of Injector problems:
  • Lack of power - the vehicle has lost it's performance
  • Poor fuel economy - vehicle uses exccessive fuel
  • Excessive exhaust emmissions - vehicle fails the local emission test
  • Hard starting - the car is difficult to start hot or cold
  • Rough Idle - the car does not isle smoothly
  • Poor driveabilty - the vehicle suffers with flat spots, hesitation and "pinks"
  • Malfunction indicator light - air fuel ratio error code on EOBD2
